On 11 May 2010 the Federal Budget announced proposed changes to superannuation legislation including an increase in the Superannuation Guarantee (SG) to 12%, an increase in the age that SG contributions can be paid to age 75 and an increase in the concessional contribution limit to $50,000 for people who are aged 50 and have less than $500,000 held in super. These are proposed changes and have not passed legislation therefore they have not been allowed for in this calculator.
