The vision
Money Solutions was founded by one of Australia’s financial visionaries, Virginia Dowd. A former Qantas-Bulletin Businesswoman of the Year, Virginia felt that Australians could and should be doing better financially. She believed that existing financial advice was targeted at - and priced for - the wealthy. She wanted to create a company that was totally committed to improving the financial well-being of the ordinary working Australians so she created Money Solutions.

Money Solutions offers comprehensive financial planning. But this is more than many Australians need – or can afford. So we’ve broken new ground by also offering single-issue advice – e.g. how to consolidate your super and choose the right fund. This lets you get the financial answers you need at a price you can afford.

For those who want the comfort of meeting their financial planner in person, we offer the traditional face-to-face meeting. Somtimes this is unnecessary and inconvenient. So we’ve made financial advice available over the phone or via the internet from our experienced Money Coaches. By making advice more affordable and accessible, Money Solutions has helped thousands of Australians make smarter decisions with their money.
Raising the quality and integrity of financial advice
Our Coaches and Financial Planners are trained and highly experienced. They are committed to helping you get to a better financial place. What’s more, while most companies are paid a commission for the financial products they recommend, Money Solutions is not. We are paid only for the services we provide. When we make a recommendation, you know it’s because we believe it’s going to improve your financial position – not ours.
