Do you need help with your personal finances? Our Money Coaches can give you financial advice over the phone at a fraction of the cost of traditional financial planning.

What is a Money Coach?

Most Australians can’t afford a full financial plan. They don’t want the hassle of a face-to-face meeting. That’s why we created the Money Coach. They make financial advice more:

  • Accessible – get the answers you need over the phone
  • Immediate – no need to wait for an appointment
  • Affordable – much less expensive than traditional financial advice.

How can a Money Coach help you?

A Money Coach can provide solutions to the specific money issue you’re facing today. Here are some examples of the common questions that Money Coaches answer:

  • Am I saving enough for retirement?
  • How do I boost my savings?
  • Should I consolidate my super?
  • Which super fund should I choose?
  • Should I salary sacrifice?
  • How do I maximise the government’s co-contributions?
  • How much insurance do I need?
  • How do I minimise tax?
  • What should I invest in?

When we give you financial advice over the phone, we also send you a written Money Plan or Statement of Advice (SoA). We want to make sure our financial advice is clearly communicated so that you understand the advice.

How is a Money Coach different from a Financial Adviser?

Money Solutions has Money Coaches and Financial Advisers. What’s the difference?

Money Coaches give you over the phone advice about specific issues such as how to consolidate your super, etc. This low cost advice is simple, clear and accessible.

Financial Advisers offer a more comprehensive service. They look at your complete financial situation and prepare a plan for your future. It requires more of an investment but it also helps you take charge of all your finances.

Why you can trust our financial advice?

Most financial advisers get a commission on the financial products they recommend. Money Solutions accepts no commissions. So when we make a recommendation, you know it’s because we believe it will enhance your financial position – not ours.

How much does a Money Coach cost?

Getting 'single issue advice' (eg how to consolidate your super) is less expensive than getting a full financial plan. Our Money Coaches will generally charge a fee based on the time involved. However, some Industry Super Funds will pay for the cost of your first phone consultation. Phone us on 1800 046 144 to learn more.
